Ayreon Taher was born on July 4, 1985 in White center, one of the roughest cities in Washington State. During pregnancy his mother Molly Taher often looked at her belly smiling and saying, "We will make a man out of you, a man that will change the world"....With that, Ayreon was born during the fireworks and celebration of the United States Independence Day.

Growing up, Ayreon’s father, Moe Taher was usually absent due to heavy work hours at three jobs. Ayreon was brought up differently than other "thugs or hoodlums". By the tender age of eight, he became involved with many bad influences....

Missing a male role model in his life, he naturally bonded with whoever accepted him. These new friends, soon became his second family. During this point in his life, Ayreon lost many close friends to the streets. Devastated and distraught, this became a major turning point for Ayreon. He transformed from "mothers angel" into a very disobedient child, what seemed like over night.

Life became harder and colder as time passed, and so did his heart. He pulled himself away from all those around him, mentally and emotionally. Which delivered him to the road of hip hop. He began writing, simply his ideas. The ideas and thoughts were joined with rhymes. Not before long, this turned into poetry; his poetry began to form rhymes and rhythm and Ayreon "The Don" was born.

The essence of Ayreon’s music is based on his every experience in life, with the hope that his fans and listeners will learn from his mistakes in the past through his songs before they fall in the same path.
